Intro to West Seattle Pilates

This class is great for people new to Pilates and to our studio. Clients will learn an overview of Pilates and the principles. All apparatus will be introduced including the reformer, mat and tower. It is a slow pace and a full hour.

Stretching

This is a 50 minute Restorative class for clients who need gentle, slow-paced stretching to release tension and promote relaxation.

Difficulty Levels

The classes listed below are available in 3 levels depending on your experience and desired outcomes. Ask your instructor if you need help deciding which level is right for you.

Essentials
For those new to Pilates, returning after a break, or rehabbing an injury.
Elevated
For those ready to increase intensity and build on their Pilates foundation.
Fierce
For advanced practitioners, focusing on complex, challenging exercises.

Reformer

Pilates reformer is a versatile tool for expanding beyond the mat. Clients will focus on breath and form and can expect to gain strength and length. Various exercises will be introduced and props may be involved. Reformer classes are 50 minutes long.

Tower and Mat

The class includes exercises on the Mat and reformer tower to help you gain strength and length. The tower can be a little more challenging than the reformer so a good foundation of Pilates is helpful. Tower and Mat classes are 50 minutes long.

Hand Weights and Jumpboard

This class is for clients looking for a little more cardio and faster pace with low impact on the joints. It is crucial to have some Pilates experience before taking this class. Hand weights, bands and other props are incorporated into the jumping. This class is fast paced and 50 minutes long.

Private Lessons

Private Lessons are a great way to start your Pilates practice or enrich your current routine. Each lesson is geared towards the client’s needs and wants. The Pilates reformer, cadillac and chair are utilized in the lesson along with various props. You can wear comfortable workout clothing and be in socks or bare feet. Due to a high demand we ask that you inquire about availability before purchasing a lesson or package.

Duet Lessons

Duet Lessons are a way to workout with your partner, friend or family member. This lesson is geared towards the duets needs and wants. The Pilates reformer, cadillac and chair are utilized in the lesson along with various props. You can wear comfortable workout clothing and be in socks or bare feet. Due to space conflicts we do ask that you inquire about availability before booking a duet lesson.

Custom Classes

Custom classes are an option on occasion. We must have the studio and staff availability. This lesson can be for up to 5 people. It will be taught on the reformer and mat/tower equipment. This is a fun way to workout with family and/or friends!
